We had the privilege of designing and building a custom swimming pool for a residence in Kellyville, New South Wales. The brief was to create a contemporary outdoor retreat that complemented the home’s architecture while providing a functional and relaxing space for the family.

The block had limited backyard space, so the design needed to make the best possible use of the area without compromising on aesthetics, flow, or liveability.
Solution
- Design & Layout: A sleek, minimalist pool design was chosen to maximise the space. Clean lines and a rectangular form give the pool a timeless look, while frameless glass fencing ensures an open feel and uninterrupted views.
- Landscaping: Lush tropical plants line the perimeter, providing privacy and a resort-like atmosphere. Succulents and decorative pebbles at the base of the fence add texture and contrast, enhancing the overall design.
- Materials & Features: The pool features a durable tiled interior and polished concrete surrounds, offering both style and practicality. Wide steps provide a shallow lounging area, perfect for relaxing or supervising children.
Outcome
The completed project is a modern backyard oasis that perfectly balances form and function. The Kellyville pool has become a central feature of the outdoor space, ideal for entertaining, family enjoyment, and quiet relaxation. The combination of clean design, greenery and premium finishes ensures it will be enjoyed for years to come.
